What people are saying about the new course
"I greatly appreciate having the opportunity to take the course, "Who's Doing the Work", offered in an online format. There was so much valuable information to digest and then apply, and I found online learning to be an advantage as I worked through the modules in my own timing and pacing. The recordings were visually and auditorily clear and easy to access, and Jan was quick to provide feedback when I did have questions. I also enjoyed the authentic observations of Jan working with students. She is warm, personable, and clearly a Master at her craft! I feel that I can take away some pointers from her teaching style, and her lovely way when working with children. This has been one of the most beneficial, enjoyable, professional development courses I have taken, and I would highly recommend WDTW to teachers of all levels of experience."

"I have had the privilege of participating in both the original online class and the new Who’s Doing the Work? Online Class. I was happy to find that the content in the revised course, with Dr. Jan Burkins, was not a full repeat of what I had in the previous coursework. The content in the course is updated and supports the current shift in reading instruction that is being discussed in the reading community. With this new course, my previous learning was enhanced with new examples that helped me, with a second round of instruction, to learn even more. I would highly recommend this course, even if you didn't take the original! It has truly propelled my reading instruction forward!"
